Accessibility statement

Swiss Post Cargo undertakes to provide a website which is accessible to as much of the general public as possible, regardless of skills or technology. We are continually working to advance the user-friendliness and accessibility of our website.

Standards and guidelines

Swiss Post Cargo is guided by the standards of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), Level AA.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines are a recommendation for designing accessible Internet content. They were developed by the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative. The Level AA guidelines set out the following requirements in particular:

  • Perceivability through text alternatives for images, subtitles for audio content, ability to display content in different ways and change colour contrasts
  • Operability through keyboard operation, colour contrasts, time limits for data entry, prevention of seizures and navigability.
  • Understandability through readability, predictability and assistance with entering data.
  • Robustness through compatibility with assistive technologies.

The website is verified and modified in line with the WCAG standards on a regular basis. If you encounter any problems, please let us know (accessibility@swisspost.ch).

Although Swiss Post Cargo endeavours to comply with the recognized guidelines and standards for accessibility and user-friendliness, it is not always able to guarantee this in all areas of the website.

The following sites are currently not compliant with WCAG Level AA or are only partially compliant:

Non-compliant:

  • All customer portals (login)
  • All online services: track and trace
